No not to the lads for beating Barnsley last night. I wanted to give the members on here a pat on the back for some cracking debate over the last few days when discussing Max Power and Josh Maja. People voiced their opinions and defended them against others arguments who saw things differently. There was no swearing, no name calling and no falling out. Good honest debate which was a pleasure to be involved with. This board has been accused over the past twelve months or so if being dead, boring and inept which it probably was in a way but I honestly think it just reflected our back to back relegation and the club in general not being in a very good place. Things have turned around, we have a team of honest triers, thank goodness and the management can be related too at last. A happy club getting great results has obviously sparked the fans enjoyment again and opinions and counter opinions are what football is all about. We even dealt with Beardsleys Wumming the other day in a proper manner. It's great to get up after a cracking result last night and see new threads and the feel good factor back on this forum. Lads like RTB, Flanders and others who work hard in the background to keep the interest alive is great to see. So take a bow you lot we've got out mojo back both on the pitch and more especially on here, well done lads.
It's lovely on here these days. Getting on a lot more even if I don't have time to post. But to be honest, it's been lovely for ages now. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
It's a football forum and great when people talk about football and SAFC. When it becomes an endless stream of 'sorry about last night lads, I was totally smashed' and 'have you seen the tits on this lass' it's a waste of time tbh. The relentless repetitive 'wit' on the Mag board is what's killed it off. They post the same drivel because they don't have the nouse to come up with anything new or actually discuss football rationally. Take away their little 'catch phrases' and they're totally lost.
The Newcastle forum baffles me, it's exactly as you describe but I don't know why it's so different to this one. When you speak to Newcastle fans in person they're no different to us and why would they be, but their forum is a mess.
