..... And welcome to the Premier league.

How do yous think you will fare? A lot of changes will be needed because players like Frazier Campbell won't keep you up.

Out of both Welsh clubs, I prefer yourselves.

it will be a scrap but we have a decent spine of a team, we've got a few quid too, and with the right additions we'll be safe, campbell will play his part, he's a good player who has had injuries, but the lad can finish and although he probably wont get us the 12-15 goals that any PL striker should be getting, he'll do well as long as he's fit.

we have a team that will stick together and battle even if we dont get off to a good start, there will be no infighting as long as we dont get in the wrong players......<ok>

    Thanks SAFC,

As long as we are better than 18th it will be ok but would like 5 better than that.

Campbell has done the job for us when fit, think he can do it in the prem if he keeps fit.

We need a few better players but the money is there, we are not going to bother the top 10 but 1 step at a time.

    Cheers fella! <ok>
17th or above will be enough for the coming season. Frazier has settled well and seems to be enjoying his football here. We must strengthen with a few higher quality players but I hope it's not to the detriment of the team spirit that Malky has developed at the club.

Thanks for the congrats ....but then your thread seems to taste a little bitter

first of all his name is FRAIZER Campbell so obviously yous never took to him.... and he is good enough to help keep us up with help from a decent team and good management

Out of both Geordie clubs, I prefer Newcastle not yourselves.

Safc, firstly, thank you for the welcome. Personally I believe with our current squad we'd be able to stay in the premier league with a good dose of luck. With 4-5 quality signings we'd be mid-table albeit bottom half.
Fraizer Campbell was bought to do a job in the championship and he did that job. Whether or not he is good enough to keep us up is not a debatable point as Cardiff City play as a team not a bunch of individuals, he is a component part of the team. If you look at our main goal scorers for last season it will show we are a team and do not rely (currently) on a loan striker. This will not hinder us in the premiership but we do need a 25+ striker to help us acheive safety in the premiership.
I do like Sunderland but equally like Newcastle as both sets of fans are a good craic and love their footy.

I'm looking forward to it, great for him to play in a big staium like that, he's been to see a couple of games there so it will be fun for him to be on the other side of the line.

Do you think you lot can stay up next season?

he`ll love it butty>>>>I scored at ninian park in a final once......we were 3-1 down at half time....then I cracked a top corner freekick canton end 2make it 3-2 with 9mins 2play and the rest is history....we scored another two in the last five mins 2 lift the silver.....one of the best games at ninian park witnessed by about 300 <laugh>.

have a great day butty, and tell your boy enjoy it and play is bollocks off.......good luck

ps fk knows how we will do in the top division dude.....its a fight between also rans which is a shame.......its an almost who makes it out of the rubble first wins type of game...........I gotta be honest tho, some of the stuff on offer doesn't scream out high class from Swansea down(even tho they do perform on odd occasions)......fingers crossed we get some luck needed 2 survive another season.......u never know we may even pick up the reserves cup on our first year back in the big time....;)
