Well played Chelsea. Far better than us for the first hour, but took a battering for the last half hour.

Overall the best team won <ok>

    Great game I thought.

Good luck for the rest of the season <grr>

Yeah, good luck for the rest of the season. You may have a great cup double at the end of it.

I have asked before but will try again, can we have Ramires in the Summer?

He's the player we'll miss most in Munich.

The first half was a bit dour, mainly because Liverpool didn't bother to show up outside of their half, after they went 2 down and they played it became a good game. Chelsea desreved the win. Good luck in Munchen

    Cheers for all the wishes.

Thought we clearly had the first hour, but you were all over us in the final third of the match and looked odds on to get the equaliser. Carroll looked a lot more like the player you thought you were buying when he came on (think not starting him will be Dalglish' biggest regret at the moment) and was a huge threat to us, winning almost everything in the air. Have actually been thinking of how he would perform for us as he would greatly suit our system. Hope that both him and Torres will now come out of their shell and show their class next season.

Hands off Ramires though ;). Guy was heavily criticised and made a scapegoat off when he first came to us, but has been one of our best midfielders this season, if not the best. Welcome to borrow him when playing the mancs and spuds though.

Good luck to you boys for the rest of the season too <ok>

In my opinion the best midfielder in the league at present, without any doubt. Exactly the kind of player we need.
I was guilty of criticising him earlier in the season, but wow what a player he's turned out to be.

Also, I wish Carroll played like that all season, he was literally unplayable for 25mins.

The better team won, congratulations. Good luck for the CL final, would be a hell of an achievement for RDM.

I was quite relaxed in the first half, but the last half hour my nerves were shot! I cant believe how Liverpool have suddenly returned to top drawer death struggles having disappeared for ages! If I was a Liverpool fan I'd be feeling happy that they're very much back in business!

Strange game in many ways, we looked well on top 1st half, Pool a bit tentative. Too much ball given away by both teams. They stepped up a notch 2nd half, and it looked as if we couldn't go with, them largely down to tiredness I think. I was screaming for RDM to bring on fresh legs, but he kept his head and looked to be saving that for overtime. With a slice of luck and another dour defending display we held out. Well done to all, and to RDM especially. Loads of dedication, guts and work have now landed one Trophy.

The performances and possession/chance creation stats have been there for most of the season. Only problem is that we don't have the quality to make good use of it in the final 1/3 of the pitch. Also lack of fire and passion has frustrated us many times this season as it did during the first 60 mins yesterday.

I was hoping Bayern would win the CL before the semis kicked off but Chelsea won me over against Barca, wish you all the best in the final.

    I'll also offer my congratulations!

Far better than us for the first 60 and then we were better than you for the last 30.

Can't really complain though... Good luck for the rest of the season. (Apart from Tuesday!)

    Congratulations on your win yesterday.......

Chelsea did very little wrong all game and showed effective defence, and good finishing in front of goal.

Liverpool as usual had the better possession, the more chances, the more corners etc, but demonstrated again just how woeful weare at converting the better share into a winning result.

Chelsea were the more effective (and therefore better) team and deserve the win......Thank you for not playing Torres and good luck in the Champions League final.....Hope you can win it!!

There is part of me that wanted us to play Torres, and both are in good form, but we had to be pragmatic.
Everyone knows that Didier Drogba is the big man for the big occasion. 8 goals in 7 domestic finals says it all.
