You did us us proud with the minute of silence. Well respected. Not a sound. Fantastic. Compared to the disgrace by the so called fans at Wembley who hurled insults 'murderers' after just 20 seconds.
I take it you have not heard about the songs that were being sang by a small minority of United fans in the game. Mods, can we have this removed.
Alan in fairness, while any songs about Hillsborough being sang during the match are wrong, the OP is about the one minute silence before the match and unless I am going deaf as I get older, it was my opinion that the one minute silence was respected with no one singing or booing. Also lets be clear, wasn't the silence at OT about the tragic death of Piermario Morosini and nothing to do with Liverpool?
Everything you say is correct but we must eradicate this filth immediately as it may upset a Scouser.
Don't see any Liverpool fans on complaining. To be fair even Sharpe said he watched the match and could not hear anything being sung. Maybe I am going deaf!
I didn't hear it either but you have to bear in mind that I had a medley of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Smack My Bitch Up going on. We can't risk it though. If there's any chance that a United fan did sing something that might upset a Scouser then we need to act on it now. The first thing to do is to remove this thread before pandemonium breaks out. I'm going to iron a shirt, please action this forthwith.
I see Alan isn't going to bother to explain his reason for wanting this thread closed. I guess he logs on first thing, objects to a few things on everyone's behalf, then sods off again. He'll have his wish anyway as taffy is swamping the board once more so this will disappear soon. For the record, you could have heard a pin drop so it WAS beautifully observed.
DDDDDDDDD was doing his nut on the LFC board about how all United fans should ashamed etc by our 'clearly audiable' songs etc. **** off.
Well tarring a whole load of Chelsea fans with the same brush just because a small minority of Chelsea interrupted the minutes silence is wrong and very club have their share of the idiots.
He's a dick. Reckons he was at blackburn away, he must have spent the whole night with his fingers in his ears muttering to himself.
Read again before you decide to speak on everyones behalf. He never once mentioned the whole Chelsea crowd, just those that sang it.
No I believe the announcer said it was for the Italian player at the request of SAF. Sky also placed an image of the lad on TV. As far as I recall Hillsborough was not even mentioned.
