You have achieved something I thought impossible; a total loss of interest in all things Stoke City related.

The past three years of putting up with your man Pulis, for me, the fall out began during your and his first stint at Stoke and peaked at our farce of a Cup Final and the Pulis inspired 'performance' (and I use the word advisedly).

Since then it has been a torturous downhill spiral of uninspired, soulless football, overseen by yourself and your family.

Having finally dismissing Pulis, you have missed the opportunity to really introduce a long overdue 'change of direction' and installed a manager, a manager who arguably and uniquely was and is less popular than Pulis. In your words, 'our only choice'.

I imagine that BET365's finances have taken a healthy boost from the speculation on a new manager of the past few days or so. Well done and I hope that you enjoy SKY's money over the next season or so.

Nothing much more to add except to say that I sincerely hope that you and your family continue to enjoy playing with your train set.

I know that most of you if not all are going to give Hughes the benefit of the doubt, I cannot do so, to me, Hughes has no honour, no integrity and not a scrap of humility. Not my type of personj.

I really do not want to and will not post an endless stream of negative anti-Hughes remarks, so best to stop now.

I will look in now and again, so until the next time, have a great summer.

    All the best

    Nick

I am afraid I am not the least bit interested in Barton or his tweets.

ONB, I really can`t understand your negativity to the Coates family,God knows what league we`d be in now if it wasn`t for their injection of funds. PC is very obviously a true Stokie . He was right to re-employ Pulis, and has done what we all realised needed to be done, got rid of him! Let`s give Hughes a chance, because if it doesn`t work out I`m quite sure PC will see him out as well!!

I too dont understand why people are getting on Coates back, hes pumped millions in and was right to appoint Pulis and hopefully he will prove us all wrong again by appointing Hughes

I think ONB is just pointing out the obvious in that their decission is arguably very brave/stupid. We sit on an issue for so long to then appoint what appears to be a mirror image of what we have just solved? I will support Hughes until their is a reason not to (as I did TP) but empathise fully with ONB's concerns.
