Hi Dave / NC Canary, Heady times indeed,you must be pinching yourselves after the last 2 seasons,but i ask myself could you have done it without Fox and Tierney?. Really enjoyed some of the banter on 606. Regards the shirt,someone did give me a name to apply to at City but i lost it,perhaps you may know of a contact. Do you remember Terry Mancini ?, ex QPR, Arsenal and Ireland,every year he organises a 4 day tournament at La Manga for ex pro.s and celebrites,just had an email from him to say he will be donating a tournament shirt signed by all the players for our auction,how good is that!. I really believe that we would have done this without the two you mentioned, as Lambert has gelled a TEAM and not relied on individual so called "stars". We certainly couldn't have done it without Lambert. Fox and Tierney are good team members and have made their mark in the team, but so has the rest of the squad. Just think what YOU could have achieved with Buttercup at centre forward, "Hoofin" the ball into the net and keeping the grass, (if there is any)? cropped. Your loss I think. I went to the celebration party last night, 40,000 plus turned out on what was a fantastic evening in many ways. Delia came out with another classic "another good thing about all this is that we don't have to play in the FRIGGIN playoffs"!! She also sang along with the crowd when she first appeared, joining in with "come on lets be avin you, come on lets be avin you", she just Friggin great! Can't help with the shirt I'm afraid, but I've got a ã5 gift voucher for the Canary store if it's of any use? You might be able to auction it for for ã5.50? If you want it let me know.
