Exclusive - Bircham: Mark Hughes has been so surprised by the QPR fans By Chris Mendes | Friday, April 27, 2012 QPR youth coach Marc Bircham says Mark Hughes and his coaching staff have been amazed by the club's support in recent weeks. Buoyed by a deafening Loftus Road crowd, the Super Hoops have swept aside Liverpool, Arsenal, Swansea and Spurs in their last four home games, offering hope of avoiding relegation this season. Bircham, an ex-QPR midfielder, told Open All R's: "I remember the gaffer after the Tottenham game said to me, 'wow, you're not wrong about this crowd, they're unbelievable.' "They've been so surprised by how good and how hostile they make Loftus Road." On Sunday, Rangers swap home comforts for the short trip to Stamford Bridge, with Bircham using QPR's 2-0 League Cup victory at Chelsea, some 26 years ago, as inspiration. "I showed it to the gaffer on YouTube the other day, but Eddie Niedzwiecki [QPR's first-team coach] was in goal for Chelsea, so I don't think he was too happy about it," he added.
Yep, Our crowd has made HQ quite a formidable place to visit now....Keep up the good work guys and Gals.....
