Together they were good at Barnet, which before anyone else says it was at a lower level, at City however, from memory, although they both played it was often one replacing the other rarely did they both play at the same time so I have no idea how they might develop.
To be honest I think that GJ and John Ward have done much better jobs that Holloway. Holloway took over a club that was doing well 4th in the table and managed to keep them in the playoff places with virtually the same squad of players he already had. John Ward took over at Sag HQ with them on the way to the conference and got them to just outside the playoffs. GJ has taken his team up to take our place in the Championship with few resources.
