Congratulations from an Arsenal fan in peace on finally winning the Champions League!

Obviously part of this is due to our delight at preventing the Scum (a.k.a. Spurs) from getting a Champions League spot but you it was a great achievement considering the opponents and injuries/suspensions.

IMO you've got a core of real match winners when it counts (which we lack) so for however much we mock Terry and Lampard or argue that Drogba dives these are players who are born leaders and winners

What do you think the chance of Di Matteo staying are and if he does would you be happy with that?

All the best for next season so long as it's not at our expense

Would LOVE him to be given a chance. Can't speak for everyone but a lot of us are sick of this managerial merrygoround.
    Cheers for the post BTW!

    Cheers for the post.

Denying the spuds the C.L spot was made even sweeter when reading some of the bitter bile posted over on their board these past few days.

I think 95% of Chelsea fans think RDM deserves to stay. Roman has always sought out C.L winning managers and now he has one, why sack him? I don't think we need a 'name' anymore, we have enough stature (and money) in Europe to attract top players. Give him at least a year and if Roman must have Pep, go for him in a year if we have a bad season.

Well done on finishing 3rd and denying the spuds C.L.

Cheers ajameshowe - nice of you to congratulate us.

Truth is I don't like the ugly rivalries in football although as it is tribal then I guess crap will manifest a lot of the time.

Not everyone is a vitriolic *osser - I went to the Etihad with 2 City fans and had to sit with them as I couldn't get a ticket in the away section.

I made it clear to the guys around me who I had never met before that I was a Chelsea fan and they were great - we had some good discussion, some good banter and I endured some friendly *iss taking becuase we lost.

Be nice if everyone was like that.

Good luck next season to you too.
