Id imagine he'll be drawing 2 distinct lists of targets. 1 if we stay up another if we go down.

Who would you wanna see on those lists being realistic with the budget.

    If we stay up
Nathan Dyer (seems to have fallen down pecking order at Swansea, bags of pace and gets a few goals)

Matt Phillips (if QPR go down,,Taylor made for us IMO)

Jelavic (if hull go down, get rid of fletcher and bring him in as replacement)

Curtis Davies (we need two center halves and if hull go down I'd take him)

Van Djik (An obvious target, use Fletcher to sweeten the deal)

Robertson (Hull and Scotland left back, a level above Pva)

I don't buy this "buying from relegated teams" crap. Anyone would snap Ings and Austin up given the chance.

    If we went down

    Frazier Campbell
    Peter Whittingham
    Chung yong lee ? (Bolton)

Would have to have a good look when it came to center backs.

    What do people think?

If we stay up and go for the players you've listed I think I'd give up all hope! If Hll go down we take over 1/4 of their first team... Not a good way to do business imo. I take your point about buying from relegated teams not necessarily being a bad idea, but to take such a large chunk of such an awful team is just asking for trouble imo. Having said that, no idea who I'd go for! That's what Congerton gets paid big bucks for (and Nads does better for free).

    Jelavic and Davis? **** that.

Stay up.(being realistic on our inevitable low budget) I'd be happy if our line up looked like this. Add a CM and a St if we get the budget or able to generate the funds moving on ****.

    Pants/Vito
    Hutton-----Rodwell-----Shawcross-----PVA
    Larsson---------Catts
    Giacc
    Johnson------Defoe--------Bruma
If we go down I only expect outgoings with nobody brought in at all. I'd be happy if our line up looked like this

    Vito
    Jones------Rodwell--------Oshea------Pva
    Watmore---Larsson------Agnew---Buckley
    Wickham-----Mandron

Good shout with Lee Chung-Yong he's a baller, he should be in both lists.

Take United's spitter - Jonny Evans he's got to be shoved in the summer.

of the relegated players assuming its Hull, Burnley, QPR...

    Leroy Fer
    Steven Caulker
George Boyd - the grafter to end all grafters, you lot want effort he will deliver in abundance.

Ings and Austin are out of reach I reckon.

Robertson at Hull is very good. Easily their most saleable asset though and think others will have noticed him. No to Jelavic, wouldn't mind Davies.

Nobody from Burnley. Isla from QPR or maybe Fer or Faurlin.

    Like Mahrez at Leicester. Pace.

Davies can't get a game for them can he? He's overrated. One half decent season and people want him. No thanks

I didn't know that, Has he played any? Saying that they've got decent wingers keeping him out at the moment.

If we stay up we need to add pace, and we need 2 CB's, 2 wide midfielders and a creative midfielder.

We will buy a goalkeeper and a striker who can't run, cos we are dumb.

    If we stay up:

Eric Bailly - Villareal. This lad has got all the attributes to be a top class centre half and he is still a young lad.
Van Dijk - Celtic. Another centre half, young, ball playing defender and can contribute with goals as well.
Leroy Fer - I know he's been relegated twice but I'm a big fan of his and he would flourish in a team higher up the league.

No idea if we go down...

****ing dreaming there mate, there must about £50m of shopping there. We need them but can't see us getting anywhere near the budget to fulfill it. :(
