Today i started the thread which i headlined "Arsenal have now signed alex" which i put up on the wesite at earlier.(about 2 minutes afterit came on OS) but now looking at it ,it seems mighty southampton started it 4 hours earlier when he had`nt even signed !!!!!! can some one please explain how this is?
If there are duplicate threads the mods merge them. You are supposed to see if a similar thread is going before you post. Although your thread was technically different the mods considered it similar enough to merge.
The mods joined all the Threads together so other good threads stay for longer, good idea if you ask me!
Yes, there were quite a few very similar Chamberlain threads that popped up, so we merged them all together (so your post still exists, it's just within another, larger, thread now). It just makes things a lot neater, and allows for a better flow of conversation. Also prevents members getting annoyed at reading the same stuff over and over again.
That is exactly what happened We had a total of 4 Chamberlain post going at one time. We even had a "not a chamberalin thread going." Unfortunately this clutters up the board when other people clearly want to discuss other things other than Chamberlain. Each post indeed slightly different but the subject was exactly the same only with slightly different slant on it. We wanted to keep as many different threads open as we can as this generates interest and debate. There was nothing in the other threads that had not been said in the first one or as in this case "Chamberlain signs" which was the most uptodate thread of the lot. So all were merged into it. BT
