Best Driver: Has to be Button, I didn't think I'd be saying that after he pinned his team mate to the wall Worst Driver: Nobody stood out as being particularly bad Best Rookie: Petrov Best Team: McLaren. Their setup gave them supreme pace at the end, probably would've been a one-two if they hadn't collided. Worst Team: Virgin. Lost ground to HRT, and D'Ambrosio missed the cut off Best Overtake: Webber on Heidfeld. Considering the lack of traction and straightline speed he had, he did very well to make that stick Funniest-moment: Coulthard saying he learnt German watching DVDs when he was young, and then Vettel asking if he could borrow them. Most Surprising Result: Button, last to first Least Surprising Result: Hamilton being at the centre of controversy. Special Mention to: Pedro de la Rosa. Arguably driver of the day, a very respectable finish in incredibly difficult circumstances Race Rating: 10/10 Ignoring the painfully boring red flag period, it was an absolute classic
Best Driver: The man, the myth, Jenson Button (driver of the day is an understatment) Worst Driver: Hard to pick. Lewis crashed a lot but none of it was fully his fault. Di resta Best Rookie: D'Ambrosio Best Team: Red Bull Worst Team: Force India Best Overtake: Jenson button. Pick one. Funniest-moment: Nick Heidfelds crash was an odd one. Most Surprising Result: Jenson Button 1st/ Sebastian Vettel not 1st Least Surprising Result: Webber 3rd Special Mention to: Michael Shumacher. Nice drive. Best Driver: Sir Jenson of Button, as in Monaco. Scintillating, thoughtful, excellence. Worst Driver: The Dark Side of Hamilton, as in Monaco. Silly, rattled, amateurish. Best Rookie: Michael Schumacher - haven't noticed him before but that kid's going places. Best Team: McLaren - they certainly did the most work. Worst Team: HRT. Why are they still there? Best Overtake: Button on Webber, Schumacher, but mainly the rattled Vettel. Funniest-moment: "He's not as good as his brother, though" - DHC Most Surprising Result: Schumacher - pity he couldn't hold Webber off. Least Surprising Result: Button's victory - it was never in doubt. Special Mention to: Massa - drove a good race and had a great finish. Race Rating: 9/10 - best of the season so far. Yes, it was enhanced by the weather but F1 does weather. Best BBC commentator/presenter: Brundle/Coulthard Worst BBC commentator/presenter: Brundle/Coulthard during the red flag period. Best Commentary moment: I'm struggling to think of one... Overall BBC coverage rating: 2/10 - no F1 Forum: slack.[/QUOTE]
Best Driver: Jenson without a doubt Worst Driver: Lewis Hamilton Best Rookie Ambrosio Best Team: Erm....Red Bull their weakest track and got a really good result Worst Team: Ferrari Best Overtake: Button on Webber on the pit straight Funniest-moment: Lewis hitting Jenson Most Surprising Result: Jenson's recovery Least Surprising Result: Rosberg being hit by another car Special Mention to: Michael Schumacher, thats more like it Race Rating: 11/10.... Best Driver: Button Worst Driver: Rosberg Best Rookie: D'Ambrosio Best Team: Red Bull Worst Team: Force India Best Overtake: Schumacher on Massa and Kobi Funniest-moment: Marshall falling over trying to collect debris from Heidfeld's wing Most Surprising Result: Button winning after 6 pit stops Least Surprising Result: Vettel finishing in the Top 3 Special Mention to: Michael Shumacher. He was brilliant today, shame he just missed out on a podium! Race Rating: 10/10 Best BBC commentator/presenter: Martin Brundle Worst BBC commentator/presenter:None Best Commentary moment: Brundle's Rihanna joke and noticing that Racecar is Racecar spelt backwards Overall BBC coverage rating: 10/10 - I think Brundle and Coulthard did well to keep us entertained during the red flag period.
Yeah. I wouldn't want to lobby for the removal of another BBC presenter/commentator - thank god Legard's gone and that's enough - but Humphrey doesn't appear to be remotely interested or enthusiastic and certainly isn't interesting anymore.
omg, could you imaging listening to legard for 2 hours talking crap. "From cloud, to rain drop, to puddle, to concrete."
Cheers mate, I was just looking for that, it doesn't stop getting funny. I'm in stitches here. They should teach them to run properly in Canada, although this could be the same bloke. Similar build.
I stopped laughing when i thought Kobayashi was going to run him over, but yeah other than that hilarious.
Button best driver, to be in the pits so many times as he was and survive all those incidents, takes supreme courage and concentration, he may not be the best driver but he has big balls and I hope he keeps the race.
I'd like to think that's what he was doing, I just think he didn't know which way the marshal would run! I'd love it if he was playing chicken though.
Worst 'commentator' (if she is one) would be Lee Mc for trying to rile Hamilton, obviously I'm not a Hamilton fan but she tried to wind him up by quoting Buttons radio comment which I thought was a bit below the belt.
