Do we have a 21,000 or 27,000 seater stadium or is my mind playing tricks? I know we had some issues with the sign-off on the new upper tier but why are we not going for the higher number capacity?
Capacity at the moment is 23,000 with the upper stand open today which is sold out today. It is 23,000 at the moment due to safety certification, on parts of the upper tier and also in the Atyeo stand. There is a segregation section in the Atyeo stand which if Newcastle had the whole stand then the capacity would of been higher due to the segregation also being sold. No conspiracy theory.
