Having had defenders as managers for the last 8 years, lets see what having a striker as a manager brings.

A couple of attacking players in the transfer market hopefully.

 

Already seen one on Facebook Taff, just sigh, shake head and move on.

 

What we need is a fit Bellamy to inject some experience and quality plus a set of new full backs, a central defender, a wide midfield player/winger and a striker.

I really foresee the end for certain players such as McNaughton, Turner, Taylor, Whittingham, Maynard, Hudson, Cowie, Gunnarsson etc....championship players at best who have been found out at this level.

Marshall, Bellamy, Mutch, Medel, Caulker, Campbell and possibly Noone are the only players who have what it takes at this level.

The new manager surely will be able to have seen enough yesterday and from a viewing of the PL games on cd to form the view this City squad will perish without pace and quality in key areas.

 

Well 17th will see us finish above swansea, thats good enough for this year

What i meant was, our reserves played attacking football when OGS was our reserve manager/coach at United.

The sarcasm was from the fact that malkys idea of attacking football was to hoof it forward and hope for a corner or free kick. After 2 years were not sure what attacking football is anymore

 

Great press conference, said good things beside the usual, might take a little time but we should hopefully see the potential we have being used properly.
