Don’t know anything about him but he only joined Rennes in the summer on a five year deal so seems odd they are loaning him out with an option already. Anyone watch Ligue 1 and know much about him?

After a bit of googling sounds like he hasn’t settled in France and wants to leave

Seems incredibly stupid to come here though

They changed manager and just hired Sampaoli, so that must be part of it

The old man and I were saying just the other day that we're surprised we haven't dipped into the Scandinavian market more, when you see some of the successes that have come from that part of the world. Brentford have been ace at it. Hopefully this lad is decent, we'll get a good look before having to decide in the summer

    Meh.

He’s no Adam Armstrong, I mean he can’t seem to trap the ball more than 10cms from his own body for a start.

And don’t get me started on shooting. This jokers shots seem to go right in the goal for some reason.

Adam will have to have a word with him if he comes in…

Sounds like he's more Matty F than Lesley O. Interested to see how he shapes up.

It depends what conditions in the obligation to buy are so I wouldn't get too excited.

Plays a bit like a young Lallana.

Has apparently put in a couple of MotM performances for Denmark already.

Don't care if he's a bit raw or inexperienced. He can actually sprint, which puts him above Smallbone, Aribo, Downes, and (old) Lallana.

Opportunity for a try before you buy on a clearly talented Danish international midfielder. You’d imagine would be an upgrade on the Smallbone types. I like this deal.

I'm wondering what will happen if he does well over the next few months. £12.5million is a lot to pay for a Championship club, even for one coming down from the PL.

We’ll use the money from selling Dibling, Fernandes and Ramsdale

Even without those three we would have a good Championship squad so wouldn’t need much adding to it

Didn't we spend close to £12.5m on Shea Charles last time we went down? If we were prepared to spend that on a prospect from Man City's academy it doesn't seem too much of stretch for a Danish international, especially if he's already played well for us.
