Got to say I agree with the posters above me, why on earth would he want us to win when it would mean his teams expulsion from the Champions League? I always root for English teams in Europe UNLESS their victory would have a negative impact on Chelsea, in which case I will be rooting against them. Cant say I wouldnt do the same to be honest.
I guess the point is that 'Arry has said he'd 'always' want an English club to win but clearly if that is going to have a negative impact on him/his team I don't expect him to maintain that. Imagine how the spuds would react if 'Arry said he wanted us to win the C.L knowing that would mean the spuds don;t qualify, they'd go mental and rightly so. Redknapp is a tool and should keep his mouth shut more, we all know that but can't really have a go in this instance.
