i think you're right yeah. I remember thinking everyone is clearly keen to see us win a few games for a change.
Glad it's not just me! I'm skeptical of that 4k figure tbh. We'd surely be close to selling out all ST's as I can't imagine we had sub 20k STH in our last prem season. Makes me wonder if they're counting relocations as 'new'
To answer your original question - distance selling regulations applies to all online transactions. If you used a CC you are protected too under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Debit cards are different)
Only just got around to renewing mine. Difficult to be too excited about the coming season given how tough it's likely to be. Though I'm sure optimism will start to flourish when the euros is over, we've signed loads of players and the season opener is on the horizon.
Club have confirmed season tickets have sold out, now no longer possible to purchase - only renew if you are an existing holder. Anyone new who wants one will have to be added to a waiting list and wait for others to drop off.
Yikes. Is that our first ever waiting list since moving SMS? Wonder what the cap is and how many won't renew?
If it wasn't for the layout redesign, I'd have expected the vast majority to renew. But the redesign might well have resulted in a larger number not renewing than otherwise would have been the case. And then there's also those who have chosen to leave their seat and get a ST in the Northam. For some reason the club appears to still be holding their old seat for them to renew...which they clearly won't be doing.
Probably so they can spin the 'we've sold out' marketing angle. Look at the demand we've got. Not that I'm cynical or anything.
I'd be curious to know what the cut off point is, ie how many are they holding back for matchday sales.
Alfie House says 5% of tickets are held back for match-by-match sales, which if true would be about 1,600 on sale for each match. In the replies he goes on to say he doesn’t know how many season tickets have been sold, but 5% of tickets held for match-by-match sales, 10% for the away end, then whatever total of tickets there are in hospitality.
I would think that Season long Hospitality are included in STs, if so how many Hospitality are held back? 5%?
If there are some Independent outlets great Last time I went to a big game at Rose Bowl all the outlets were contracted out to a single supplier and quality was poor Music Festivals show how good food can be when it’s diverse competitive and multi-supplier
Saints have released their new ticket app. Having downloaded it looks very straightforward to use. The last (and most important) test will be access to the stadium. I know there have been issues at other clubs when they have gone digital so hopefully Saints will ensure no such issues will occur.
