Not sure if we'll end up with a takeover, investment, or investment with Bates left in purely a ceremonial role & therefore no real influence. Either way, the sooner something happens the better. Deals on new players can happen now - 93 day loan followed by an agreemet to buy. So we should start seeing things happen over the next few weeks if money really is on the way.
No I don't. The point I have made from the very begining is that if there is a take over it will be a commercial decision between two parties (buyer and seller) and LUST will have **** all to do with it. They cannot make Bates sell, and if the buyer had to have Leeds pointed out to them then they would be worse than the present owner as they obviously a) dont want the club for the right reasons, b) didn't have a clue about our fan base/ potential to be great/ big again. If thats what you thought there is no wonder you keep swearing at me.
You should see some posts on the Facebook page. Hopefully it would seem things are coming to a head. David Haigh has been tweeting about Leeds for a while, although he's had the excuse of being a Leeds fan, hopefully Alrayes saying something is a good sign.

No idea how long it will be, but if LUST keep promoting them as the new messiahs it wont be long. Lets us be clear if and when it happens it has had nothing to do with lUST and us non beliievers don't owe them any thanks.

1. Correct. It is a given so anything else that has been spouted by LUST is pointless 2. It is an obvious truth. Bates has no time for LUST and would and does love to hold them up to ridicule. LUST claim to have introduced the idea of the TO to investors but if anyone can raise £50 mill they sure as hell dont need enthusastic meddlers advising them on investment opportunites. If they do then things will get far worse under the new owners.

Hey luvvees, drop the handbags! You've all missed my point in posting this. Perhaps I should have been more explicit, but it was half three in the morning! Bates ranted on about the bank's need for confidentiality yesterday, going on about banking regulations in the ME, affect on share price if they were known, etc. Strikes me that this chap may have found out about Bates' rant and posted this to reveal himself, and prove that Bates was talking nonsense. Two fingers up to Bates, big 'hello, I'm with you' to the fans, all in the same post. Perhaps I've read too much into it, but the post definitely raises some questions. Who knows, the confidentiality aspect might have been right, and the deal has actually been signed. Very strange signal being sent out, whatever it was. (and perhaps very naive too!).
You could have a point there jock. Someone else pointed out with stock exchanges closed for weekend it would be ok for the newbies to reveal themselves now if deal is done and make announcement to relevant stock exchange Monday morning. Personally, I know nothing of stock exchanges thankfully
