QUOTE Estoban Granero insists Hughes is the right man to turn the club's fortunes around and says the whole squad are doing everything to put things right for the manager. Granero said: "The manager has great confidence in the squad, and players have that same confidence in the manager and his staff. The chairman also has confidence in his manager, his staff and the players...that is why I am not worried and have great confidence." UNQUOTE Things are worse than I thought
Perhaps this is like Ramirez telling Mikel that he was called a "monkey" Hughes says I have "great concerns in this team", and Ale tells Granero not to worry, the manger has "great confidence in this team"
This is like the fifth element nobody knows what the fook is going on,has Donald Duck been contacted yet?
But they don't have any confidence in EACH OTHER!!!!!!!! May be they're looking at the big picture in the wrong way
This is the spiral were in. Once the boos start and the fans turn it adds more and more pressure resulting in less and less confidence for fear of cocking it up. Then you don't get the performance and more boos. We need that break, crowd rise and confidence grows. Fine lines! 6" further to the left and Adel would have finished a great move, crowd cheering, first win and we'd have been off and running. Sadly that's gone and the pressure has tweaked!
Far from it Col! Just making the point of the fine lines and the difficulty we face. Even the most positive with which I include myself can't help but let out a huge groan at errors because we know we have to start winning. Multiply that by 16000 or so groans and each mistake or misplaced pass is horrible. Christ I feel embarrassed when I cock up with my mates in a friendly 6 a side with a crowd of nil!
Very true mate. The pressure is building and building. Not easy for any player. I suspect Adel would have stroked that chance away had we been mid-table with 2 or 3 wins under our belts.
