After looking through the team, and the start to the season we had its obvious to notice that our run of form of late is down to confidence and togetherness of the team as well as some very good ability.
The poor start we had with losing 3 games in 4, obviously our confidence was low, which produced the poor results. Whether that was down to having a good pre season and thinking they were just going to walk in to the league games and win comfortably or whether the players where still gelling we will never know.

But my point is that now the players are gaining in self confidence its a big factor on how the players and the team performs, confidence that allows the player to improve and become a better player for the club. A fantastic example of this would be Joe Dudgeon, Dudge, didnt start well in a Tigers shirt, looked nervous (as you would be in your first, first team game) but ever since he was dropped and got back into the team, he has grown in confidence and continuing to improve massively. His work engine is endless, and he is noticebly getting further and further up the pitch and attacking the full backs a lot more which is needed in the modern game. He deserved his recognition this week in the Championship Team of the Week, he's becoming a great player that is always going to improve.

The other obvious players are the likes of Chester, Hobbs, Evans and McLean, again with confidence are becoming better and better.

Was interesting to read some of Millwalls comments on Jay Simpson, saying that he was unfit and low in confidence when he first went there, which is no doubt very true. But as he's started to shed the weight and gain in confidence he playing a lot better and getting the goals for the Lions. I for one, don't really see him coming back, but if he continues, his price tag gets bigger, which will give us lee way in signing Waghorn (finger crossed) and is a lot better for the team. But it just goes to show you, confidence and fitness is a huge part of the game and to improve as a player, something which the current Hull City team is absolutely beaming with.

Another win tonight, I am enjoying this season a lot!
