Monster - complete misreading of the situation. After a couple of shambolic performances Saturday was the bit of luck we needed to kick on. There is no papering over of cracks required. We have a decent set of forward thinking players and Sonko and when fit Ingirmarsson provide far better options than the teenagers we were forced to play at Peterborough. The three new signings last week and getting the rub of the green on Saturday (plus a sublime strike from Scotland) were the boost we needed. Best of all, as you can see from the clip we have added Bullard's deadly freekicks to our armoury!

We were all over you like a rash, even with Sonko, Murphy on the pitch, then a sending off changed it all! Bringing on bullard was just to add to our misery to be fair, cracking player but he had all the room in the world when were sat on our goal line! Losing to Peterborough, yes was an embarrassing result (hopefully a one off) but as you know Southampton are a pretty decent outfit as you found out on the opening day. I think they'll surprise a lot of people this season with the results the get.
