That's correct, God loves you regardless but like a good parent he is patient and forgiving. People can only find true contentment when/if they open their eyes and hearts, accept and let God love you
So if I'm good, he'll reward me, but if I'm bad, he'll forgive me and then reward me anyway. Funny, it's almost like he's doing nothing at all.

Its been done before on her mick and it needs more than just me pointing you to the verses in english, ie tafsir/explanation but here goes off the top of my head surah rehman verses 38 and 39 refer to the explosion (supernova) of stars turning the sky 'rose red' (see pictures of the cats eye nebula taken by hubble) as for dinosaurs the word dinosaur literally means 'Great Beasts' and the word for great beasts in arabic is 'dabbah' and these are mentioned many times in the quran
