well we go into the most important month for a long time,a well depleted squad, three games at home coming up and still no signings. Gotta have big concerns, the websites have gone into meltdown with a 20 year old lad that none of us really now much about not signing as yet for us. Do we really think a 20 year old lad is going to keep us in the championship. We require experience and now,not in a months time where we could almost certainly be cut adrift from the pack. What is going on at the gate,we need players that want to play for us,and can do the business now.
Bet you are after that performance tonight, junk. Time for SL to get rid of cotts,he is taking city down.
That explains why every cross would land no where near a City player then. One of THE most overrated players to ever wear the city shirt.
Concerned? YES - and I have been ever since it became evident that we were starting our Championship campaign with last year's League 1 squad, but without last year's captain and JET, with no replacements arranged - and no backup for Fielding - and a manager who can't (or won't) adapt his formation or use his subs properly when his plan A is clearly not working. I still feel the same, so in that respect nothing has changed. I am concerned, yes.
Yep, after last night I am concerned and we are in real trouble. Not just because of the result because I actually do agree with Cotts on this one as I thought we didn't deserve to lose, but that has also happened in so many games this seasons. Keepers seem to be saving their best games for us. I know football is more than just luck but when you are down the bottom who don't seem to get much. Hitting the post in the last minute and you could have written the scrip that Cunningham would get the winner. To be honest we are having the luck of a team heading for the drop and when you factor that in with the lack of bodies to implement any sort of change of fortune then I think concerned is the right word to use. But lets face it, things could be worse, we could be Bolton fans
You cant blame luck being against you for 22 league games out of 26 or however many we've played. The excuses tend to wear a bit thin. Every club gets good luck and bad luck but it doesn't go on for as long as we are claiming it does. You need to make your own luck sometimes.
On balance we probably have had bad luck this season - sometimes it goes like that However as Angelic says sometimes you need to make your own luck - for example if we took our chances against Charlton we would not have been in the position to conced a late goal that mattered - it should have been a consolation. We are paying the price now for the transfer fiasco in the Summer - Cotts said on the radio last night that trying to do a whole seasons transfers in the january window is virtually impossible - he's right! Is it me or is the window already as case of deja-vu? Deal accepted for Clough - the player does not want to come. We are now linked with the Lyon striker Claudio Beavue - however Celta Vigo want him - now let's be honest - where's he going to go? So yes - I fear for what's going to happen this season I really do - but if we do end up in League 1 then IMO Cotts is the man to get us back.
The gap above us is also opening up as the likes of Huddersfield pull themselves clear of trouble. I have an awful lot less optimism about our chances of survival than I had before Xmas, and we are not an attractive prospect to any player we are chasing.
I have no optimism left. Going down for certain. I've had enough and can't face it again on Saturday.
Yep very concerned now, I had hope for this month but it's gradually disappearing, cannot believe the state we have got ourselves into right now
We have also had some 'luck' too. Cardiff missed some sitters at the end of their game against us - plus Frank saved a couple of penalties which the opposition would class as luck. I bet Middlesbrough consider us lucky....
But we should have been a couple of goals up on Cardiff before the last few minutes, Another 2 points thrown away. Yes, Middlesbrough probably do, but I don't think that'll be repeated after 16.55 on Saturday
Boro will ram it back down our throat on Saturday, sitting ducks ready to be shot down. Could be a big score against us.
Non of us even thought we would be where we are in the league. The blame is on the door step of the board and management team.
