Whether Moody was given the wrong team sheet and the fact that we got stuffed by Palace in any case is totally irrelevent, other that it provides another great opportunity for you to have a go - and I don't blame you one bit. I agree that side of it is bloody hilarious. The issue that Moody (allegedly) tried to gain an illegal advantage by using old contacts at the club is the point in question. If the accusations are proven, Moody will rightly be reprimanded and punished, although I have no idea to what extent. If the allegations are unfounded, then CCFC and Tan in particular will deserve every ridicule it gets for indulging in what could be seen to be a pure sour grape reaction.
Why would Moody be punished? It is his 'contacts' at Cardiff that are to blame, and even then it's an internal matter not criminal.
Nobody said it was criminal. The fact is that it would probably breach a plethora of FA/FL/Prem rules about the conduct if it's club officials. To that extent, if proven to be true, Moody and any others involved would face some sort of internal sanction. As far as any "miscreants" at Cardiff are concerned, if you get your brain into gear, they obviously did not get taken in and fed the wrong information. Although it obviously didn't work, I would have thought Tan should give them a pay rise, not punish them. I'm not interested in the inter-club thing so fill your boots about the fact that we failed abysmally against Palace despite (apparently) misleading them.

Hands up those who think that Tan has never done an "unethical" act in his working/business life.
Is it a breach of the rules? Without looking at them who knows? If it is a breach then there should be some sort of punishment but at the end of the day it's just Tan complaining about someone who's suing him. No surprise there. Everything we know about him tells us he's a control freak who's a piece of work. Cardiff would have been better just to leave it go, as it just smacks of sour grapes. They thought they's out-foxed Moody but lost anyway. Got to laugh. Tan does have a track record of making his club a laughing stock and this is no different imo.
VETCH - I was/am always up for a bit of a go between clubs - what I was trying to do was put a bit of perspective on the subject. I have already said a couple of times on this thread that the side issue of feeding duff information and us still getting stuffed is hilarious. I don't blame any over there for having a laugh at that, but that was not the point of my posts.
