Why is this thread still open and this idiot still able to post on this board? I'm all for open debate but insulting everyone on here and an unsubstantiated attack on someone's parenting skills simply shouldn't be tolerated. Close this down and get that twat to **** off.

Don't know about the other two, but I've been going through my end of year exams so I've not been coming on here. I'm only on here now because I've got two emails in the last couple of hours telling me that users have reported the same post so I thought I'd come and sort it.

For future problems, it's much easier for us to mod things if people use the little triangle icon with an exclamation mark at the bottom left of posts to report it and then leave it, rather than having an argument about it. (off to mod the 3 pages of the thread now)

For everyone's benefit, I've just moved these posts off the other thread. 30 posts to be dealt with on that other thread and I'm still going. #Reportbuttondontargue

As much as people will argue that certain posters, like myself, should avoid allowing themselves to get into such arguments with arseholes, it's easier said than done.

Especially when reporting to mods kinda feels like grassing someone up to the teacher at school.

Understood. Agree with J-D that it feels like grassing but I didn't realise there was a way to alert you - makes sense rather than expecting you to read ebverything and work it out for yourself

I did think about hitting the button Ric but decided I could get something positive about it, and use it for some team building here on the forums. We might not all agree all the time, but at the end of the day, we're all Tigers fans and love our glorious city and I think some of us forgot that for a while in some of the heated debates we've had.

Maybe so, but about half of the posts I'm having to take out seem to be people telling us to do something so it's either be the one who sees a fight and tells the teacher quietly so they can deal with it, or the one that stands in the middle of the playground shouting "Oi miss, look there, they're having a fight, and look now there's loads of kids running over to join in".

I'm at least as guilty as most others for letting myself get sucked in, but Ricardo's right in saying report it rather than argue. It stops them getting the fuel of attention at the same time as reduces the disruption of often several threads.

I actually didn't notice that many comments calling for the mods. Three max.

Then again, I was too busy ranting at James ;)

Got to take my hat off to the three of you though. I'd be dishing out bans left right and centre <laugh>

Ricardo you 've not removed James' original sick post (No 2 that caused the uproar) from the New Support thread.

Certain posters have been pissing me off slightly lately. Not because iv'e been offended,i always think it's pretty sad to go to bed in a strop because someone erm (disagrees) with their point of view. But because these guys have simply been boring my tits off ! Grow up tiggers.

On the other hand,i think it's a shame the mods are getting heavy handed, even a little bit Gestapo on here. Lets try to get back to the way it was. I don't think the thread locking is having much effect. Not that i have a solution mind, except this.... stop boring me to death guys,or ill come round your house with a L**ds shirt for each of you and make you wear it for school !

    Seriously though, Shurrup !

I'm on and off here all day, almost every day, but I moved offices today and have been offline since 8.30 this morning.

Trust me to miss all the fun...

I resent that suggestion, I said I was doing accountancy exams, at no point did I claim to have a life. I can't think of anything that suggests I've got less of a life than doing accounting work and not being paid for it does.

Fine so far. I've got one more to sit, and I'm waiting for marks on another. I've already had the grades back for the graded modules so I know so long as I pass these two I've got a double A, which you can't actually beat at this level.

I can confirm that I have no life beyond this board, in real life I'm 3'6", have no friends and I live in a ditch near Cottingham.
