Following on from Sapph's 'The league table doesnt lie' thread, I thought it would be interesting to compare last seasons table to this seasons table. After 20 games last season we were 22nd http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-two/2012-2013/table/2012-12-01 After 20 games this season we are 22nd http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-two/2013-2014/table (Green = Last season. Blue = This season) Won 4 4 Drew 6 7 Lost 10 9 Scored 23 17 Conceded 39 22 Goal difference -16 -5 Points 18 19 So we are 1 point better off this season. Also the 2 teams in the relegation zone after 20 games last season - Aldershot and Barnet - ended up getting relegated.
The only good stat from that lot is that our defence is much better this season - we just need to score some bloody goals and we'll be fine!
