I fully expect Tory MP's to use their get out clause to escape dropping Thatcher and her government in the **** over a cover-up. Thatcher getting a state funeral is more important to them than the truth about the deaths of 96 people. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/live...t-monday-in-house-of-commons-100252-29566890/ I hope im wrong and the families finally get justice for their loved ones. These threads always attract idiots if an offensive comment is posted please PM me if I miss it and it will be deleted. Thought it would be better than getting into heated arguments.
Now the debate on Monday is not party supported. Hence none of the MPs is subject to the party whip. The government can, if they wish, try to maintain their clause but they cannot force ven their own MPs to support them. From what I have heared, the families are not demanding to see these documents. They are more than happy for them to be released to the Independant Committee. This reduces the audience for them to a discreet few and more than helps off-set the government bailout clause
