I had a little rant on here after getting home after the game but after a nice dinner and a couple of drinks I have moved on! This is obviously a brand new team that needs time to gel, what I saw in the first 20mins gives me great confidence that when we get going, I think we could match any team in the league, think of the teams we put out against Man City and Chelscum early in the season and gave them both a game. We are going to have a very good team once they have got enough training sessions and a few games under their belts, you can look at this game as an early kick up the jacksy that spending money does not guarantee a wins. This is the start of a new era come on you super hoopsa!!!!!!!
I felt like that too P Block, I couldn't make it today I was at work. My mates at the fire station said that they wondered what was going on. They were in one room watching the rugby, I was in an adjoining room with my laptop. They said they were wondering what I was doing, all they could hear was screaming and swearing for 60 odd minutes. It's definitely better to be there. Ive had a couple of wines and I feel a bit calmer now.
Ruislip I'm just trying to say, before we signed these players this batch of games were vital, they still are! but I think we have more chance now of nicking points off the teams near the top of table
