Work on your end product a little and stick to your lovely passing and I can see a 12-10th finish for you guys. Oh and your keepers quality!
Thanks for that. No shame, we were just beaten by a team that's better than us who brought a £35M player off the bench who was a class act. At least there's only 4 or 5 teams of that standard to play.
Another saints fan here, Totally agree with the the poster said you will be fine watched numerous games off yours last season and you were a breath of fresh air with your football! Bit more steel in defense and your do just fine! All the best Swansea
Nice one, Saints. Honest fans will admit we saw this one coming. New experience for us and a more gentle intro against a "lesser" team would have been preferable. We are on a tough learning curve but as long as we keep our confidence we do have the quality to get better. Thanks for your posts and yes, our new keeper is quality.

Cheers for the kind words folks. It's tough to accept 4-0 but so many positives and a far closer game if Aguero wasn't bought. I really think there are only one or two other players at his level right now in the Premiership (Suarez and Tevez) so as long as we don't expect anything from the games against the top six then we can concentrate on picking off the lower teams to see us finish above the dropzone - 17th to 7th will do, though I'll stick with my prediction of 16th. Vorm inspires me, and if we get Bates in defence, Taylor back, plus more fitness then I think we'll be in good shape over the season. Tough opener but we'll see what the season ahead brings when we see the Wigan game. Conceded four but made 11 saves - damn he's on Vorm already!

well, ignoring the bile that pinhead qpr fans spew. i was at the game last night and to be honest i was impressed with the swans even though i had a crap view (row 7 bottom level). i thought we kept the ball well but without the penetration that we hoped to see. dobbie's run and shot was good. but i wish he'd put a bit of height on it. at the end of the day we didn't really expect much from that game. sometimes you just have to stand back and admire the the performance of a better team. and once aguero came on, we were undone. i thought caulker, Augustine, Leon and vorm were very good. the rest did well considering we were playing against some world class players and some very big, finely tuned athletes. it's a shame we let in four. that flattered them slightly. but we'll learn from this and wigan can look out on Saturday.
