Come the end of the season...

...it will be interesting to see how the membership fills out on here. I can't believe how far ahead Newcastle United is in terms of members on not606...

I'm pretty confident that the Toon will be playing in the Premier League no matter how bad things can look from time to time - although it is a bit scary the way that no team looks doomed,(with perhaps the recent performances of Wigan Athletic being the exception), it's usual to see one or two team well adrift by now...

 

I pop on to 606 now and again, obviously just to read since i was banned. Its like a ghost towm on the Newcastle board. There's a lad on there called Bannister and he's basically just chatting with himself.

There's the odd other straggler on there aswell and no doubt when it does finally shut down they will make there way over here as well.



Has anybody seen or heard from Moncurs ?

 

Yeah, Banister9 or something - I honestly thought it was 'Tash for a while.
I thought the other boards would have been busier than they are though - Man Utd and Liverpool are miles behind us on this website and they're usually the busiest threads.

Not seen Moncurs for a while...

 

Moncurs was getting distraught with all things NUFC for a while back on 606 and said that he'd been avoiding it as his heart wasn't in it anymore.

Do hope he comes across here.

Who hasn't transferred over to here from 606? I know Moncurssouthernreiver doesn't come on here. Jimileysbaldhead isn't so prolific. Jokers had only a few. Anybody else?????

 

I did, but had many accounts on 606, due to going on for a bit then not bothering and forgetting passwords

 

Haven't seen Moncurssouthernreiver on 606 either on the odd time I've popped in to take a look. Hope he's ok, was one of the better posters.

 

Agreed - it's pretty lame and now all you get is people advertising other websites!
I do feel a bit bad about the way many of us just left but it's clear that the BBC will not reverse the decision to close it down.

 

Some of the stuff on 606 is awful aswell
