Over the decades, supporting my beloved Bluebirds has regularly made me see red. So what the hell difference does it make?
i reckon we should have a change of colour every season from now on....maybe even one with cannabis leaves all over it sponsored by snoop dogg and the NHS
There have been some black times and times when I've felt blue. There have been envious times when I've been green and happy times when I've been in the pink. Colourful times when supporting Cardiff City.
Interesting thing about this superstition lark within the asian culture. I have been in the bathroom business, and recently dealt with a chinese couple who insisted that the pan had to face away from the door, because they believe that all the good luck of the house will be washed away.....down the pan! Hey, Confucius he say "man with knob up chimney........fugging great!"
Anybody that knows me knows I had no use for the Malaysians investors , but 100,000,000 has got me warming up to them .... mmmmmmmm MONEY !!!
ask them to put the money into an account first and then you will know if its bullshit or not....what would you put your own money on...they will or they wont as its bullcrap..
Of course Dai, you are assuming they are the thickest people on the planet. Everybody knows the only way we will accept the changes is based on the investment. If they renege on their promised, then they would have some serious serious problems. If you think that the changes can't be undone think again. It would take one day to revert back if they renege, and every Bluebird supporter would make severe and lasting protests that would make impossible for them to realistically own the club. Are they that stupid??
PROSTITUTING OUR CLUB..makes me sad that some on here don't seem to want to convince the malaysians to invest in the club as we are..without changing our colours and badge..its up to us as supporters to convince these people how much it means to us..if we can get 20,000+ cardiff fans to sign that petition it will prove that. if they really care about the club surely they will invest anyway..the way i see it if they walk away because we don't want to change our historic badge and colours then i really don't want them near our club in the first place..i'm sure we would get an investor somewhere else be that the case.
London They weren't exactly queueing up before the Malaysians came in and the debts are reportedly higher now. The proposal capitalises all outstanding loans including Langstone and secures the club in equity finance not debt, a much more sensible and long term structure. As I have said before, take the emotion out of this and look at the business case.
bfb mate look..thats all i'm sensing is that cardiff fans on here or the majority it seems are like me in saying that they don't want to change the colour and the badge..where i differ from the that majority on here is that they seem to have rolled over and just said yes its fine you can do that! why are we not as a majority voicing our concerns for the colour of the club, badge and traditions..why do i seem like the only one on here and maybe another 1000 that who signed that petition so far thats standing up to that proposal....To change the colour to red over some superstitious thing or to supposedly make the club more sellable is actually a ridiculous statement.whats the rational thinking behind that..do they have no care towards the club and its traditions...it appears not.
London - you are right that they do not have a care for the tradition of the club. I also understand the passion that the issue raises. I just can't see how wearing a blue kit away and a red one at home, with a red dragon on it changes who we are. This offer may never ever happen again. I think everyone agrees on that. That then means we take it and hopefully make the most of it, or we consign ourselves to a long lower league battle. A lot of supporters have spent their whole lives in a lower league battle, and just don't want to go back to it when another option has been offered. BUT we can hope that on Saturday, there is some wiggle room. Perhaps a colour change but keep the bluebird. That may be possible as an example. Time will tell. Believe me mate, I am not trying to take the piss out of you or suggest you are not being rational, but I can't help wondering what may be....what Cardiff City may become. I already know what we have been, and that won't be forgotten.
Well put Siam. London, we are all in this together and debate is right. As City fans we must not fall out. Your passion for the club is never in doubt and you have my full respect for that. I also believe the Malaysians will have made some allowance for the fans reaction and have a fall back position which will bring more to accept the final outcome. Time will tell.
siam thats all i want is the 2 things to remain the same and i believe all of us has a duty to make that heard...of course if the worst happened and we did go red and had a different emblem i would still support the bluebirds but until then we must collectively let them know that this is huge change and one that could disrupt feeling at the club and its supporters...we should not come across as push overs otherwise we will set a precedent..we are cardiff city fc,proud and loud and now its our time to let them know it..in professional manner of course.
We must move on, I am all for the colour change, but have I missed something? What about the colour of the stadium, keep the blue but add on a red extension? Furthermore, knob of butter.....what`s that all about?
