Blackburn lost 3 - 0, Wigan will do the same on Monday so despite the loss we wont have lost any ground and our Goal Difference, difference will have improved.

At the end of the day, the red cards have cost us dearly. We need at least 6 points IMO.

Bolton have the easiest run in by far so were always likely to finish top of our min-league, although they dont seem to be handling the pressure very well.

Still see it as a fight tween us and Wigan and I cant see them carrying their good form through to the end.

The biggest factor now is that Bolton have been sitting with their feel up and have 2 games in hand, with a decent couple of games coming up. I fear it's between us and Wigan for the 3rd place!!

Col, if it is between us and Wigan (who play Blackburn on the last day), then looking at the fixtures, they have a slightly easier run that us. I'm afraid we need to beat Stoke AND one of the big three to be safe barring major losses for three of the four below us (excluding Wolves). They have Wolves on the last day who may by then be playing with the panache of a team already gone! Twists and turns certainly lie ahead!

I'm ****ed off with Cisse. Bought in for a particular purpose and has spent most of the time warming a seat in the stands or a comfy chair in the commentary box. I'm ****ed off with his stupid haircut and his stupid shoes. Stop it all, Djibril, and concentrate on staying on the field and scoring the goals that you were brought here to do. I don't want to hear any **** like "I owe the fans and will now pay them back". We know that you do and expect you to.

Keep you hands away from opponent's throats.

Keep your studs away from opponents shins.

    And most importantly...

Stay on the field for 90+ minutes put the damned ball repeatedly into the back of the opponent's net.

You can dye your mohawk a lovely share of lime green and don some white Essex stilettos to your heart's content once the R's are safe from relegation.

Reserve the right to be a miserable bugger when we lose, especially valuable points in the face of relegation.

Tbh can't understand fans who can stay perky under such circs...

S'pose we're all cut from different cloth - even if the hooped print pattern looks the same.

Just back from the game via the Chinese. How the **** did we lose that? We were much the better side and had more of the ball. I would hate to be a West Brom fan, they are **** and possibly the worst team I've seen all season. I cannot believe we lost!!!!

He'd better be on the bench as far as I'm concerned, too much of a risk him starting.

Also, Derry should have been on the bench today. He has been great recently and has handled the Premiership much better than I ever thought he would, but Wednesday night was our best performance in a long, long time and our first clean sheet in an even longer time. It was a mistake not starting the same XI IMO, I think WBA were there for the taking and unless Buzsaky was carrying an injury, his creativity could have got us at least a point.

Im pissed off but I can't change it by slagging the team off. Blackburn got stuffed and look in free fall. We've beaten arsenal which was an unexpected 3 points. Cisse is back for some cutting edge. Arsenal should beat Wigan. Boltons games are thick and fast which no one wants at this time of year. Chelsea will hopefully be preoccupied with cups. All along MH has says hes targetting the home games for the necesary points. We are where we are which at present is 16th and safe!! We're in the driving seat.

Also agree ......... However MH doesn't have hindsight. And I say that because it's only a few days ago that we were devastated SD wouldn't be playing against Swansea and Buz stepped in to fill his boots. I'd have liked Buz in but the logic of SD added steel away from home made sense. Had BZ tucked away his chances MH would be a hero and the debate a non event.

Everyone seems to be writing off Wigans chances v Arsenal - but I am worried about that one.

They beat Man U deservedly and lost 2-1 to Chelsea when both their goals were offside. They are more than capable of winning.

Before today I felt confident. But with bolton having 2 games in hand, Wigan 1, and 3 of our last 4 playing the bigger sides, its suddenly gone the other way again.
