Cambridge are playing excellently first half against Manure. McGeehan has worked hard in midfield and showed some nice vision, and its also great to see Michael Nelson with Falcao in his pocket in defence!
With the wind behind them 2nd half it would be great to see them pop in a winner!

As a Utd fan, you can only be totally hacked off by that result. It's not like it was a team of reserves they fielded!

    Well done Cambridge <ok>

Never thought I'd say this but...

    Yellas! Yellas! Yellas! Yellas!

I have lived in Cambridge for over twenty years and seen many ups and downs with them and tonight has been just superb! Yes Ipswich are my team but Cambridge has always had a place in my heart and I'm absolutely over the moon! This season has been brilliant so far and long may it continue.

And Shearer reckons the replay will be worth about £1.5M to them. Maybe they'll be allowed to swap shirts that night!!!

Your young lad looked pretty good first half!

A fantastic result for Cambridge and it will cement their future as a football league club.

Best result possible - at least in terms of longer term development

This seems an apt a place as any to mention this, Simon Lappin scored his first goal for St Johnstone last night, a lovely 10-yard, right foot volley in a 1-1 draw with Aberdeen. Highlights are on the BBC website, and also feature Lee Croft being generally useless.

Just seen that the replay with ManUre will be shown on BT Sport, so that will add a further £72,000 to their 42.5% share of the gate receipts on the night. Nice little pay day for them!! <ok>
