Title says it all, think TF is looking more and more like a cartoon moron with his daily vote of confidence. Ever heard the saying "one doth protest to much" ? Shut up or sack him or even **** off.....don't care club needs action. Think TF should stand down and ask Amit to run the club again, before it's all too late. Tough love.
I think TF is a tough businessman, therefore he is not going to let this go pear shaped....and he has resilence too...look at Caterham F1. Something will happen
BOY am I psychic or what!!! He sells Caterham F1 Told you so...nah nah...my middle name is Cerny Berny
Sorry Beth but catherham are a massive fail on TF CV too. Sorry Snoretholt but got you on ignore, did suggest you do the same. For the record: Not saying he should sell the club but am saying he can't run one.
Come on then bush rhino, as our resident business mogul and fountain of wisdom, how would you run the club? Please give us a detailed financial assessment of how sacking Hughes would affect the club? What would you do about the existing infrastructure that's based around him, and how much would it cost to alter? Who have you got lined up to replace him (and are you certain they're better in the long term and will yield immediate improvements in results?). What will you do about all the players this new person wants to bring in? What about the current players who came because of Hughes? Also, what specifically makes TF such a bad chairman because he hasn't sacked Hughes now? Wouldn't you have given him a space of games in which to prove himself. Isn't the simple conclusion that that space of games hasn't expired yet? You want from Fernandes a fan's reaction to proceedings, a sacking based on whichever game has just gone. That's not how you run a club. If there's any way to make the current setup work, it's got to be attempted, because a sacking is a terrible thing for our small club to have to go through. Only when TF is beyond doubt that Hughes won't come good can he make the change.
I guess you won't see this then: Didn't want to get involved with you again, but you can't expect to post childish nonsense like that on a football forum, without getting set straight. And no-one else seemed to be doing it. Carry on
Hi Grifter, I have to say that you have read a lot more into my statement than I wrote into it, but here goes. Whilst I totally understand your comments about the financial involvment in regards to club structure I'm lost as to how you think Hughes can "come good" after 2 transfer windows, currently having one of the worst records of any manager, boo's coming from the home supporters at half time !!, the list is literally endless Grif. Now TF. He has us 1 point from bottom after spending how much on his managment team? even Flav had a greater effect on results than uncle One Tone. Bring on Mahon. End of argument. At least we knew for sure that Flav picked the team, So why does hughes stick with Park ? I may be wrong about what I think goes on at the club but there is no argument that we are the only team in all leagues to have not won an away game in 2012. In my mind that means any other manager would do better. Strange Logic but there it is
What does a cartoon moron look like? Re Caterham, he announced he was stepping down in September. This season could have been better, but in the best of all possible worlds they could have only finished one place higher than where they are now - still a couple of races to go, so still may do it.
Caterham have just announced a joint venture with alpine to develop a new range of sports racing / supercars at Alpines legendary facility in dieppe They beat off lotus to seal the deal I'll stick the link up tomorrow - its on pistonheads news if anyone is interested - and I wouldn't be surprised if TF isn't heading up caterhams side of the venture very exciting development could see caterham / alpine but in WSC petit le mans series
This is an outrageous outburst imo. Tf is the owner we have been praying for since God knows when and, although I disagree with him over Hughes, I respect him and am very grateful for all he's done.
