    Couldn't agree more Phill.

The way we go on you'd think winning games is all that matters in football. What about the sheer joy of simply participating in the prem. ...Championship. ...League 1. ...League 2. Conference. ...Park with jumpers for goalposts?!!

Not so sunny at the moment, bit on the foggy side, though I'm out for some ale tonight, choice between Gower gold, and Exmoor gold! Trouble with Hughes is, he's looking more like a semi retired manager every time I see him, no motivation in him at all, think you'll need to push him, doubt he'll jump!..........<cheers>

Shouldn't be though, should it! you strengthened well, and have some really good players on paper. From an outside point of view, it seems there are two issues, Hughes has failed to get any team ethic going, and I'm not sure he knows tactically what's best for QPR, never seems to play to his strength, though you could do with some tightening at the back, but then some of your games I've watched, you've not been that far short, of beating the opposition!..............<ok>

The problem is we bought players we didn't need and didn't buy the key players (centre back, left back and goalscorer) which were obvious weaknesses. The silly mistakes at the back that cost us so dearly are a result of this failure in the summer as are our lack of goals. The side just aren't balanced and even when MH plays the best eleven he doesn't play the right formation. We're sleepwalking to the Championship...

We are struggling at the moment too at the back, got our third choice CB in Garry Monk, who never got a game last season under Rodgers, lost Taylor at left back to broken ankle, and we are playing Toon on Saturday, doubt we'll get much, though could be a draw. Surely Hughes will get a CB and forward in January? I have to say, I've never rated him....................<ok>

If he's still with us, and even then it will be too late. Not in a very optimistic mood I'm afraid, a loss tomorrow would be disastrous with Man U and Sunderland away to follow we could be on 4 points from 14 games...

I see your game against Saints has been dubbed "El Sackio" given the current predicament of both managers! Hughes doesn't believe this match with Southampton is a 'must-win' game though, and he is adamant that he can drag you away from the foot of the table?? well he'd better start on Saturday, these managers make me laugh on times, "My future doesn't hinge on this match," Hughes. Hope you beat the Saints, you need to watch Lambert, and Rodriguez though, keep them quiet, and you should do it!..............<ok>
