What's with this Slade song coming from the south stand today ? A great effort from that section to create some atmosphere. What are the lyrics though ? I can't quite make them out.
Yeah it did go on for quite a while. It came from the south east corner, i have heard it before, but it struck me that no one else knew the words, because (eventually) the east stand just started clapping in time. What are the words to it ?
The most memorable was for a good half hour of the first half and majority of the second half when this was sang by the lower tier at White Hart Lane (league). It was an amazing effort and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I thought it was the Slade classic 'Merry Christmas Everybody' That's what I was singing anyhow in Brownies.
C'mon cheer the boys, CITY make some noise! We go wild, wild wild... We go wild, wild, wild... ------------------------------ The newest song seems to be catching on well: Ally-ally-ally-ohhhh! Ally-ally-ally-ohhhh! City A.F.C. Brucie's Barmy Army. --------------------------- Best for away crowd reaction is the 'We saw your sister on Jeremy Kyle' chant, followed by 'she's got chlamydia'. I'd like to see us follow it up though... 'We saw your mother, on Benefit's Street'? ...with 'Blowjobs for a fiver, she gives out blowjobs for a fiver' ?
We seem to have stopped the 'Hull City' chant we also used for Nick Proschwitz.... the 'Wooooah!/NaNaNaNaNa' chant.
There are no lyrics. It's a ****ing **** effort with **** grunt like noises coming from ****s without pubes. Stop it. It's ****!
I'd say about 80% of most clubs songs are taken from elsewhere and altered to fit... not the best way to do things, but why mock them? the atmosphere is **** enough as it is without discouraging people from joining in.
thats bollocks. we spunk all our songs out within 15 minutes at home.after that it goes quiet.no pace.the slade song is ****.not ours.
this is so TRUE wait till the west brom game next week the chants start first 15 mins every city song is rocking then it dies off to the odd occasional one the hultras should stick to a set few to start with just change the mix every game
Yeah sang at some point a lot of home matches this season. Started by three or four lads who've been trying to get an atmosphere going in south east corner. Its working and the atmosphere is definitely improvement in this area of the ground. Yesterday was the first time I've seen it spread as far as E10 and E9. Fair play to them I say keep up the good work.
"Come on cheer the boys, City make some noise, we go wow, wow, wow" (or "wild, wild wild" everyone seems to sing it differently)
