On reflection, I was perhaps somewhat harsh with previous commentary following the late equaliser on Saturday however this is the nature of football and the passions (in this case anger) that it provokes and the game would be dead without it. Sadly, the City of old had a reputation for letting in injury time goals to either draw or lose a game and it was wrong to brand the current squad who did us proud last year with that however we must learn to be more resolute in the face of intense pressure if the tag is not to attach. So, come on lads, show me I am wrong and let's win this game with goals from our forwards AND, midfield...
How terrible it is, I've just got back from an early beer, having a chat with the lads, all ages, we were discussing the score, not one of us from a group of 5 thought we will achieve a win, I to hope we are all wrong but what a depressive and **** state to be in..
We have been under serious pressure since the very start and it sounds like we're all over the place defensively. They have hit the post and have had several chances. Just a question of when they get the breakthrough, and then how many they score I fear.
2-0 and Alan Macinally says we're all over the place defensively. I didn't expect anything but a thumping up there to be honest, but it's a familiar pattern emerging
I think we're all prepared for the inevitable Mike. Polar opposite from this time last year. The clubs owner and board are responsible for this mess.
Well it was worth a go.... All of the goodwill and impetus built up last season has been completely and totally destroyed by the lack of investment.
Many people on this site have told me that I am wrong to criticise SL and I ask of them to tell me what have we achieved other than a nice almost completed new stadium, great audiences (you) and a Championship status that we need. ****, someone forget to book the band - how stupid.
