    After the amount of free trips to exotic locations he's wangled from the BBC, Professor Brian Cox better have figured this out or he's getting kicked squarely in the nuts.

    Educated guesses though. Sometimes they have no choice becuase the machinery or knowledge simply isn't available to measure or calculate what's happening, especially at the sub-atomic level.
