I'd pick de Gea as goalie but there's not much in it so comes down to personal preference. The only to other possible changes for me are Young ahead of Di Maria, on current form, and Shaw ahead of Blind as I still believe Shaw is our best left back when fit.
De Gea over Calamity Courtous but other than that a quality team. Not sure Di Maria deserves to be there on current form either actually.
Was going to put Young and Shaw in ahead of Di Maria and Blind but feared the wrath of UIR. Could Courtois get in ahead of De Gea on current form? After an excellent season DG made a couple of howlers and lost his head at the Bridge too, although I think a red would have been harsh for his handball brainstorm
I'd have Hazard instead of Di Maria on the left. That leaves the number 10 position vacant. Fellaini anyone???
Can't think of any major howlers he's made lately. Certainly nothing on a par with being lobbed by Big Time Charlie from his own half. Or passing the ball to the opposition striker in his own penalty area. Definitely De Gea above Courtois on quality and form then. Other than that, as Chief says it largely comes down to Di Maria or Young and Carrick or Herrera. Personally I'd lean towards Herrera alongside Matic as well, as you don't really need two DMs unless your manager is Rafa Benitez. Also Smalling ahead of Jones based on recent performance imo.
. But you love JT so much. You get to pick the coach AND the bench UIR. I know I can rely on your impartiality
A surprising number of United players would make this side given the current gap in points. That hopefully bodes well for next season. De Gea - Courtois is very good and will be brilliant but he still looks like what he is, a young keeper who has work to do on his positional play Blind - give it a couple of seasons and Shaw will be a top quality left back but got to give this to Blind as he has been immaculate in the games he's played at left back. Azpilcueta is very good, perhaps unfair not to include him but he's right footed and unfortunately for him he's not Denis Irwin Terry - he's the best English defender around at the minute Smalling - he's been very solid recently but he still can't pass. A fully fit Jones is a better player but he's almost always injured Ivanovic - no contest. Superb player Matic - no contest Carrick - he gets a place ahead of Fabregas and Herrera as he's consistently immaculate. Fabregas had a stonking first half of the season, Herrera has been excellent recently but Carrick, when fit, has been superb in almost every game he's played. Playing alongside Matic would allow him to get forward and be a bit more creative Mata - he's a gem. One of the slowest attacking players I've ever seen but a wand of a left foot Hazard - no contest Young - I can't really believe how good he's been this season. Even as a left back! Rooney - perhaps a bit harsh on Costa but Rooney brings more to the team Mourinho would have to be given the manager role as he's walking the league despite having an average squad to work with. That said, how would he have coped with the kind of injuries LVG has had to deal with? Maybe we'll find out next season!
Definitely have Mourinho as manager. With two double deckers in midfield its basically Mourinhos wet dream. To be honest you could almost any combination of Herrera, Carrick, Matic or Fabregas except Herrera and Fabregas together.
He wouldn't have Jose either despite is many posts proudly claiming Jose was taking over after Fergie.
When did he claim Jose was taking over from Fergie? The who'll world knew he had taken the Chelsea job
From a neutral perspective: De Gea - no question, Courtois is overrated from his time at Atletico Ivanovic - no question Terry - no question Smalling - debatable. Zouma, Cahill, Rojo, Jones etc are all much of a muchness Azpilicueta - who cares if he's right footed? Even Luis is better than Shaw or Blind Matic - obviously Fabregas - Carrick close but not as good as Fab Hazard - obviously Mata - onvioudly Di Maria - surely has to come good ay some point?! Costa - obviously
Hopefully boding well is just a tad different from next year is our year! As it goes, haplessly predicting imminent success is more a Chelsea trait. In recent years there's hardly been a season in which Chelsea fans haven't felt they had the best team and yet this season will be their first title in 5 years (and you've only had to spend over £500million). Even in a successful year like this one, many hapless Chelsea fans, you in particular, were predicting domination in Europe and a quadruple. Despite having only managed a solitary European Cup you seem to be under the impression that you have dominated Europe for years. A bit like Hitler. Which is ironic!

Fergie has said in the past he'd take up a role at the top when he retired from management, I personally wouldn't like to live in Fergie's shadow at United and I'm sure as **** Jose wouldn't! I can see him at City or back at Chelsea personally. UIR on who will be replacing Fergie UIR claiming Fergie can just choose Jose like, and Jose would come running like a puppy Comas/99 said: ↑ Sounds like Fergie, sign Jose up he is a ****ing legend he is perfect for us. He is a winner and everyone hates him, true man utd man And that's only at a quick glance. There's probably yards more yarn from that idiot
