    Saved from relegation, Toon stars wasted no time in partying with host Fabricio Coloccini throwing an Argentine fiesta.

    Piling round to the defender’s lavish home at Darras Hall, the entire Toon squad have been snapped by player Sammy Ameobi enjoying a night of food and drink.

    French midfielder Yohan Cabaye is photographed on barbeque duty of Coloccini's enormous outdoor oven while winger Johan Gutierez can be spotted tucking into an enormous salad.

    Within hours the event was trending worldwide on Twitter under the hashtag #ColosParty with the candid snaps receiving hundreds of online comments.

    Sammy Ameobi wrote on Twitter this morning: “Literally took about 45 minutes to scroll through my mentions this morning…#ColosParty was off the chain! #lol"

    Even former NUFC player and assistant boss Terry McDermott got in on the action:

    Newcastle United survived relegation last week with a 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road, but there is still work to be done for Coloccini and co as they host high-flyers Arsenal at St James' Park for the last game of the season, on Sunday.
