Some good news on the horizon - soon, I hope! Paddy Davitt @paddyjdavitt #ncfc AN at colney. No fresh injuries. Mulumbu now back outside light training. Hooper 2 weeks from being involved
My outside-light could do with some training too, it seems to come on for no reason! Seems a bit of a waste of his footballing talent though, he could be huge for us when he starts playing again.
PD also adds: "AN confirms big Vadis was coming back, irrespective of Evans exit at RUFC. AN delighted with his impact on loan." Looks like he's in AN's thoughts then.
Every time I've heard Neil talk about him he seems positive about his ability but wasn't sure on fitness. Have played four 90 minute games and apparently looking pretty good in the process maybe he'll be able to start to have an impact for us.
Considering AN deployed Howson (effectively, I might add) on the right side of midfield against West Ham, surely Vadis gives us an option in that area as well as his more familiar central role (he lined up on the right in a couple of his games for Rotherham I believe, and performed well). Granted, Jarvis can also play in that area too of course.
I think he could make a very good impact sub initially with his ability to run at tiring defences with power and pace.
On the subject of injuries, our two injuries situation is much better than most other teams in the League as this shows: http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=415723
