Colin has said this, his 40th season in management, will be his last. For him, not to mention us, it would be great if he went out on a high. Also, I hope he hangs around on the board post his managerial reign. His football nous is something lacking in Tan, Choo and Dalman. The club has solidified under his guidance. Always been a bit marmite as a manager, but I think football will miss characters like him. Too many bland PC managers around now. Love or hate his style (and he has his limitations), he gets results. Go on Neil, just one more...…. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49166392
But with Warnock you never really know. Lots of smoke and mirrors. If it is his last let's all make it a good one.
Agree BfB. I wonder if he actually can walk away from managment. The romantic in me would love to see him get one more go in the top flight having learned from last season but I don't know how likely that is. Also agree with remote about him having a position on the board but would worry about him being able to let go and driving new managers crazy. If this is his last season, I'm quite proud that it's with us.
