Our friend Colin is quoted in this mornings Yorkshire Post as suggesting their defender Aidey White should have fouled our boy (Rob Koren on the third goal) as apparently Hull would have fouled their player in similar circumstance . After been present at our drumming of that lot and seeing their filthy tactics suppose I shouldn't be suprised by his remark.
Warnock's the sort of manager to pick a flaw in everything... He's such a tosser and I hope he gets sacked and has to drop down to League 2 football. He's almost as bad at Steve Evans, he complains at everything, tries to talk to the fourth official at every opportunity and just simply tries to moan enough to manipulate the game via the officials. I see he had nothing bad to say about the penalty, even though it was outside the box and the linesman had already flagged for a free kick? Or he said there was nothing wrong with the challenge on Faye despite it being off the ground and two footed, and he probably defended the fact that - I think it was Lees - fouled Aluko as last man when he was through on goal and should have had both them players red carded? But the ref was against him clearly. He's such a prick. Rant over, sorry.
Colin comes out with this total crap in order to provoke a reaction - best to just ignore the winker and move onto our next game. Forget TWS until we meet them later in the season - we have more difficult teams to play!
He's a proper tosser. Just because he and Leeds are obsessed with fouling their way to relative success doesn't mean everyone would do it too. Who the **** is he to say we would have done that? We would have just scored in the first place and a counter attack wouldn't have happpened
I actually caught a bit of Calendar tonight and they had a piece on there about Leeds not having enough players, youth team makling up the numbers yadda yadda yadda. We can call him a **** but he is mobilising the media to his own ends to help the team. we need to do that with the HDM and get Calendar and Look North to show us in a positive light.
I ****ing hate Warnock and I'm a leeds supporter. I probably hate him more than most, however this is not a bad comment I don't think. Defenders do this all the time, not just at leeds. You take a yellow card instead of conceding a goal
Irrespective of if we would have done it or not....if the other team are breaking at pace and your short of numbers and you havent been booked. Bring them down.
Exactly, a lot of teams do it Maybe, I can't remember. I didn't go and although I have seen the highlights I can't remember too well when he had the opportunity
There is no 'last man' rule. It's 'denying a goal scoring opportunity'. Colin is one of a number of managers who are gifted in their craft. He deflects attention away from poorly performing players and teams and makes sure he himself is the target.
Who watches Calender for starters ? ffs. Get a grip. Colin is like Nick Clegg. Moan Moan Moan. Time to say Sorry Colin.
Disagree DMD. I think Colin has put all expectation on Ken Bates and is saying he is doing what he can when in fact I think he coulda done better already. Now I accept Bates isn't helping the cause but Colin is doing a **** job, I am one of a very few amount of people that think this though
I'll bow to your knowledge of his time at Leeds, I was basing my comment on previous experience. However, what I would ask is, is it fair to say he's still managing to deflect attention away from the players themselves albeit onto Bates rather than himself?
Hmm, somewhat. However he has often said that he thinks the squad is far too weak and while he's right it doesn't help morale of players I would imagine
Far too weak for one of the biggest clubs in europe but your squad is about right for a bottom half championship team
What an absolute gob shyte Warnock is. He and that fat get at Rotherham, Evans, should be banned form the game for life.
