was on Talksport this morning. Apparently he's doing nothing at the moment and would be interested in getting back ino management. I know it's a bit left field, but don't you think it would be good to have one of our own (and probably the best footballer we've produced) as manager (although it smacks a bit of the Messiah complex up the road!) Risky, I know, but I'd like to give it a go. Surely can't do any worse????????? Mr Bruce is still here, however, so it's all academic really.
If or when Mr Bruce goes, Mr Black goes also i take it? we need an experienced head to steady things. Now who-ever it that takes over could do a lot worse than bringing Bally along side, and maybe Zenden in a coaching role.
Colin Todd's managerial record looks pretty miserable and it looks like the last time he managed in the PL was in '99 with Bolton. 12 years is a long time! No doubting he was a good player though. Also he was a boyhood Newcastle fan which I don't think would go down well with one or two on here!
