They're welcome to him. I thought he was a complete and utter embarrassment at times while he was with us.
TBH I have no idea what he achieved (or ruined) with us - not a dig or swipe - I genuinely don't know.
Met him once he didn't seem to be too bad, when he came to the quarry once for David James to open the canteen. like others said can't remember anything bad or good apart from decent enough to talk to me.
Meh, board members don't really mean anything to us fans. Although Sextoy was our chairmen at one point I don't think there will be any fuss made about him joining the blue few.
I did meet him once and found him absurdly arrogant, he did actually look me up and down like I fell off his shoe.. He won't like the 6 fingered lot up the road I don think.!
One of my staff played squash with him in a team, one day he arrived late and said i need to go on first as i cannot stay late,My staff member was captain and told him he would play later,he acted like a spoilt child. I meet him once in AG car park, did come across a bit up his own arse.
I seem to remember he was over seeing ashton vale project and allegedly failed to instruct that a perimeter fence be put around part of the land. I think this would have stopped the locals from bringing a valid legal case to court, although cannot remember why. I don't think SL was impressed by the performance of CS or his advisers which ended up costing him a fortune.
Heard of "journeyman" footballers before but is a "journeyman" director a first? In the business world probably not!!
