If they get Warnock they'll beat us to promotion.

    Cant blame them at all

Think it's too late this season but next season could be interesting for Leeds. Not a fan of Warnock, but you can see why Leeds appointed him.

My sources (well, the internet) are telling me he's in charge for the rest of this season, with an extension dependent on results...

He has now been officially announced as the new TWS manager with an initial 18 month contract.

I think leeds will get to the play offs now and get promoted. Colin has a habit of doing it. Mind you Bates and Colin = match made in hell. He might be another Cloughie for tws.

warnock is a decent manager, but hes no miracle worker..transfer window is closed and as we all know theres about 10/12 teams all in with a shout.
i agree he will get them improved, but wouldnt go putting my life savings on them getting promoted this season just because hes there.

He didn't manage to take Sheff United up in his first season there.

He didn't manage to take Palace up in his first season there.

He didn't manage to take the Drama's up in his first season there.

I see no reason to expect he'll manage it with Leeds, particularly as he has a chairman who'll spend nothing and he has no window, so his only option is cheap loans.

Let's hope he starts his tenure with a nice 3-0 thumping by Donny. <ok>

Seems like a good appointment for them, though I wouldn't say it suddenly becomes certain that they're going to be so much better. It's expecially negative for people to say they're going to definitely finish above us now: no matter what effect he has it isn't going to stop us being one of the best footballing sides in the league in a deceitful league position.

It's also a match made in heaven.

Is your phone an HTC by any chance? Or has someone else ripped off their weird predictive text as well?

I was assuming you meant to write we were in a decent position rather than a deceitful one.

Apparently Colin visited the dressing room at half time, 3-2 impact already!

No I meant what I put. Outside of the playoffs isn't decent. It's deceitful because we should be a fair bit higher but for games in hand and a bit of luck here and there.
