Ive had a few celebration drinks tonight, but I am prepared to bet anyone he will be in the England squad this time next year! With all due respect if Henderson can make it so soon the Colback can. I think he's gona be a key player for us next season. GINGER POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
at last , this is my thoughts , as ive said in my thread under our noses , a cracking player a managers dream and as you have observed he is english
Not sure If im right, but I think he already outscored Hendo last season. I love Colback, we are so lucky to have him. One thing I cant understand is why hast he played for England U21's??
He will play for England as soon as Man u take him off us. We are only Sunderland. far far superior to hendo imo
That is the depressing reality of the matter. Hendo going to Liverpool was a reality check to us, but hopefully Colback might realise he's already at a big club and stay to push us on to the next level. We need to be like Everton. They always seem to have the ability to keep hold of their star players and in my opinion we are on the same level in terms of stature as them!
I'm gonna buck the trend. I always preferred Hendo. Could make a defence splitting pass. Was better going forward. Just my opinion.
No he cant! As I said in another thread. NE football is to England chances what leprosy is to social chances. If Henderson can make England so can Guthrie, Vaughan, Gardner, Perch, Colback... but there is one very important element linking these players
I posted not so long back a video of an agent saying a English club in the champions league was after Colback. I like the lad he has played a few different positions for us this season & has looked good I hope we can keep him.
I rate him very highly. He seems to be very calm on the ball, and can pick a pass out (think Bolton at home). I hope he stops with us, as I see him as an important part of our team.
Yet we have thread after thread with some weird and fancy names as potential new players, and many times they are to play in midfield instead of Colback and co.
