Wes can be effective when played in the right position, we need that option back. We don't however need him as a paceless and ineffectual winger! Bah!
This is going to be a long international break the sooner we get back to winning games the better all this negativity is corrosive.
Don´t for the life of me see it as negativity 23, just telling it as I see it, and anyway, if we´re only supposed to contribute when times are good, it would all get very boring, but each to his own - but you´re right about the International break, it will seem never-ending.
I think Wes being shoved out onto the flank is one of the more frustrating tactical decisions of Adams tenure. He needs to play centrally and should start most weeks. We are very predictable when he is not in the team. I do think he needs a bit of competition though because he's not the most consistent of players. I don't know who you could bring in though and I don't think Howson is the same sort of player that can really fill that void when he's not available or playing well.
Agreed - and I´m certainly not comparing him to Howson, they´re quite different players, and wouldn´t want one to start at the expense of the other, it ought to be possible to find room for them both, I should have thought.
