Well unless you call ripping seats out "atmosphere" Mersey derby is an outright clear winner.

What a load of bollocks that article is, the fierce rivalry between Millwall and West Ham didn't come about until the late sixties/early seventies, climaxing in the Harry Cripps Testamonial in 1972?.
Millwall were the original East End team and pulled most of their support from the docks on the Isle of Dogs, Thames Ironworks were formed mainly out of frustration of the running of Millwall(no investment, no long term ground (moved 2 or 3 times in the first 10 years), no real ambition ).
Thames Ironworks set up in Canning Town catching the support of an expanding East London.
After a few years Millwall took the decision to move South of the river to New Cross as there wasn't the need for 2 East End clubs and as Arsenal had already successfully moved from Woolwich to Highbury the oppotunity of moving to a state of the art new stadium was too good to turn down.
It is 102 years since Millwall left the Isle of Dogs and even today a lot of our support still comes or orginates from there.

Yes - ripping seats out is nothing compared to what the Scouse is capable of.
