To the Capital One Cup. (formerly known as the Carling Cup) No disrespect to Northampton Town. 100% focus on the league this season please Malky, we have had enough cup runs thanks.
In all seriousness, the sooner we go out of this cup the better. I would welcome a loss to the Cobblers. We played something like 58 competative games last season, excuding pre-season friendlies, That is the main reason many of the boys were so weak at the end of last season.
It's a reasonable point mate, 58 games is a hell of a lot. Even Stoke found out to their cost that playing in Europe as well effectively "did them" in the league this time round. Well, that is the reasoning, perhaps they just were not any good
If Malky is going to bring in 10 new players then I think a long cup run for the 2nd string would be good thing. Try not to usee too many 1st team players and see how we go.
We've got to get the players in first. I know Malky is probably playing it close to his chest, but it would be nice to see somebody coming in.
ITIWRAN, How are you ? I've missed our arguing so I've taken it up with a plum on our board called Casual fan who I reckon is one of you lot in disguise. Anyway back to the thread, I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with you. Last season cup run didn't help the league fixtures pile up one bit. Seeing as it will now be known as the Capital One Cup, or coc for short it would be very apt to have a final between QPR and Leeds cos they are the the biggest cocks in the league
Oright Dil! As you say I've not been over for a while. Just a casual visitor now m8. I have been up to Wembs ( our affectionate name ) enough times now, so it's about time we gave one of the little clubs a turn.
You may actually end up winning there this year though, law of averages etc, so got to be worth a shot
Dil! Why ask me? Should I know? Listen, for what it's worth, I think it's a jack who is not part of the inner circle simply having his say, much to the annoyance of the local Stasi.
